Supply Chain Manager, Norgren Kloehn Inc., Las Vegas, NV. Manage the purchasing and inventory control functions within established guidelines and standards. Support production scheduling on multiple material flow issues. Manage daily activities of purchasing, planning, inventory control, production control, and shipping and receiving functions. Monitor the materials process and ensure any issues are flagged. Implement material control systems to ensure that correct stock levels are maintained. Improve
the production process by minimizing materials, lead times, cycle times, and scrap reduction. Support regional procurement initiatives. Report to the Operations Director on challenges and issues faced by the materials department. Ensure that the organization follows the appropriate supply chain management processes.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
At least 3 years of related work experience in Supply Chain Management.
Must have at least 3 years of experience with each of the following:
Designing and implementing procurement and supply chain strategies for large engineering companies;
Performing supplier audits in accordance to ISO 9001 / ISO TS 16949 guidelines;
Overseeing supplier and vendor development initiatives;
Performing technical evaluations of new and existing material suppliers;
Performing quality control tasks on metal and plastic materials;
Interpreting engineering design, documentation, and bill of material for products on both a domestic and global level; and,
Managing and maintaining supply chain economics.
Travel required up to 30%.
