Master Data Analyst (2001797) - Research Triangle Park, NC
Where the Chemistry Happens...
We are seeking a professional like you to create and maintain US Soy & Cotton material master data and provide daily business operation support. You will also maintain data integrity and consistency within SAP through Data Quality Audits to support global KPI performance and improve master data accuracy, validity and completeness.
Formula for Success: You Will...
Manage Master Data in SAP modules including Material Management, Production Planning, Warehouse Management, Sales & Distribution, Quality Management, Accounting/Costing (Material Master Data, Bills of Materials, Recipes and Plant specific data).
Maintain data integrity and consistency within SAP through Data Quality Audits to support global KPI performance and improve master data accuracy, validity and completeness.
Retrieve, combine and analyze large amount of data to validate and execute mass changes/uploads.
Ensure global and local process requirements align in an international manufacturing environment.
Provide SAP system support and error resolutions throughout the organization
Identify areas for process improvements and drive the implementation changes to streamline the process.
Create process flows and training materials as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science or a related field.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in material master data processes, standards, data governance and data quality concepts.
Knowledge and experience with SAP Material Master Data transactions, fields and tables
SAP / ERP system experience
Cross functional work experience (Sales, Production Planning, Inventory Management, Procurement, Quality Management, Warehouse Management, Accounting/Costing)
Advanced skills in Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, advanced formulas, merging of data sets, ability to link various spreadsheets or data tables, import/export or upload/download data to/from other systems), Access Database, PowerPoint and Word.
Ability to quickly discern critical details that impact business.
Strong inter-personal, organizational, and communication skills.
Self-starter, strong initiative and results-driven.
Understanding of data structure, relational databases (e.g. entity relationship, referential integrity), query and reporting tools.
Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
Ability to multitask. Take ownership for prioritizing workloads.
Ability to adapt in a quick changing environment and work under pressure.
Programming skills e.g. VBA, VB Script, Excel Macros are a plus.
