UW Medicine Supply Chain Management team has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time, CONSIGNMENT SOURCING SPECIALIST. This position is intended to provide an enhanced level of service for consignment contracting and policy activities for all consignment contracts for Harborview Medical Center (“HMC”) and the University of Washington Medical Center, Montlake and Northwest Campus (“UWMC”). Increased service levels may take several forms depending on the needs of the organization. Examples of enhanced service includes participation in planning contracts, maximization of consignment opportunities, maintenance of contracts and agreements, more rapid response and resolution of contracting issues and negotiations. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Provide leadership and direction for procurement and contracting activities to UW Medicine departments with consignment inventory including: 2) Develop a rebate reconciliation process and work closely with the other Contract Specialists to track and manage contract rebates. 3) Contract for goods and services to meet departmental needs by: 4) Perform Contract Administration for the consignment contracts by developing and/or recommending contract language to ensure vendor performance; reviewing all vendor contracts prior to forwarding to the Attorney General's Office. 5) Maintain a high service level to our clients by: 6) Perform research and investigation for sources of supply by: 7) Contribute to an effective, efficient Contracting Process by: 8) Strive to develop professional skills that result in more efficient performance by keeping-up with technological and market development in assigned commodity area(s). Adding to knowledge of business law and related subjects by developing specific knowledge of State, University and HMC departmental policies and procedures. REQUIREMENTS: UW Medicine includes Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center - Montlake, UW Medical Center - Northwest, Valley Medical Center, UW Neighborhood Clinics, UW Physicians, UW School of Medicine, and Airlift Northwest. |
