Supply Chain Planner (2100055) - Research Triangle Park, NC
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner, Material Planner to join our Agricultural Products Division (APN), based in Research Triangle Park, NC.
As a Supply Chain Planner, Material Planner you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and SAP order processing of raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods movements to support manufacturing operations, including importing these materials when warranted. You will also be responsible for reporting on actual and planned raw material and packaging component delivery status.
Although not required, APICS certification is considered a plus.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your education in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field and your experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Import Planning and/or Operations, you will plan purchase order requirements and monitor / expedite delivery of raw materials and packaging components for contract manufacturing formulation and packaging sites. You will also rely on this knowledge and experience as you review production demands and planning purchase order requirements and monitor raw material and component orders and stocks to ensure timely delivery to support production schedules.
Your solid SAP skills will be essential as you provide SAP order processing of raw materials and packaging components for contract manufacturing operations and post receipts of raw materials and packaging for tollers without SAP connections.
Your robust analytical ability will be critical as you reconcile month end physical inventories against SAP entries, verify invoices for approval, and assist in controlling raw material/packaging material deliveries and finished raw production at third party formulation and packaging/refill sites.
Your strong computer skills, including MS Office, will aid you as you monitor and report actual and planned raw material and packaging component deliveries & status and create reports to track open orders, supplier confirmations, and delivery dates to ensure communication of order and delivery status.
Demonstrating your knowledge of purchasing and receiving activities and inventory control operations, you will convert internal active ingredient and raw material requirements into purchase orders to global internal and external suppliers. You will also use this knowledge as you create and transmit purchase orders against established purchase agreements for raw material and packaging components.
Applying your experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs, you will create stock transfer orders to move raw materials and packaging components between warehouse locations and/or toll sites to support production and create delivery notes for these stock transfers.
Showcasing your excellent organizational and collaborative abilities, you will expedite deliveries when required and confirm required logistics activities are being organized for all related shipments.
Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will serve you well as you confirm availability of required labels at the production point.
