Towards that end, we are looking for a Supply Chain Consultant to support our team and help execute client engagements that result in both growing team revenues as well as substantial growth in the I&L business.

A Day (or Week) in The Life
You report to a Manager on the SCA team who will serve as your guide and coach in terms of career and professional development. This Manager, in collaboration with you and other team members, will direct your day-to-day activities.
You work on many different work efforts simultaneously, so having a clear understanding of priorities and deadlines is important.
You support the creation of project proposals in both Word and PowerPoint formats.
You are a member of multiple project teams and will contribute to supply chain analyses that will enable real estate decisions by our clients. To be successful, you are comfortable working with business, financial, supply chain, and operations data and concepts.
You work closely with SCA colleagues to support the development of project deliverables and their delivery to the client.
You support the SCA leadership team in the development and refinement of team infrastructure as we look to continuously improve the practice. Elements of this infrastructure include:

Qualifications and Experience of the Successful Candidate:
Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university required. An emphasis in supply chain, industrial engineering, finance or business is preferred.
A minimum of three (3) years' experience in the supply chain industry, preferably supporting a line function, work within a 3PL, or supply chain consulting.
A basic understanding of supply chain concepts and functions.
A demonstrated track record of accomplishment and growth in your current career.
Familiarity with financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, statements of cash flows.
Familiarity with basic business analysis, e.g., business case development, financial analyses (NPV, ROI, cash flow calculations), etc.
Experience working in a distributed, virtual team environment.
Self-motivated, self-starter, comfortable working with minimal supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Potential Points of Differentiation:
Active membership in industry associations such as: CSCMP, ASCM, ISM, WERC, etc.
Professional certifications, awards of achievement or recognition.
Demonstrated value creation and leadership qualities.
