Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Looking for opportunities to reduce freight & distribution spend, balancing customer centricity as priority
• Drive and participate in logistics project
• Enable transport procurement activities with volume gathering, quote analysis, rate books maintenance and flow implementation
• System and process training for new LSPs
• Periodic reporting & analysis in the area of freight and distribution
• Support freight bill audit process by cooperation with external service provider
• Collaborate and solve issues related to freight and distribution
• Daily cooperation with logistics service providers, cost and performance reporting to management
• Verification of delivery performance, seek for delay root causes, and lead improvement activities
• Support requests for development / implementation of customers specific requirements

Requirements:

• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• 5+ years of data analysis, project management, business intelligence or similar experience in area of transport and logistics
• Extensive knowledge / advanced skills using Microsoft Office (Excel, VBA) is a must
• Master's degree (Business Administration, Economy, Logistics, Supply Chain or similar)
• Familiarity with transport cost structures and terms and conditions within the transport industry (surcharges, weight /volume conversion factors)
• Knowledge of relational database concepts, SQL queries and BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI) will be a plus
• Data driven personality, self-motivated to deliver highest quality possible
• Previous experience with SAP or other ERP system is highly desired
