Our Materials Management AVP leads a team of engaged caregivers to provide the best possible experience for our customers and supplier stakeholders. This position is responsible for creating and implementing the strategies to effectively manage material management and distribution services throughout Intermountain Healthcare. These responsibilities include managing the inventory, distribution and logistics functions across all facilities within the company and the Supply Chain Fulfillment Center. This position develops the vision and operational initiatives regarding the people, structure, processes, communications and technology to ensure that materials management efforts deliver significant financial, quality and service results to Intermountain Healthcare. This position is required to develop and maintain key relationships with senior-level organization leaders specifically CFOs, Vice-Presidents, Hospital Administrators, Physicians / Clinicians, Medical Group leadership, Select Health leadership and many other clinical and non-clinical program directors and leaders. This position utilizes lean principles to develop process improvement through all areas of responsibility. This position works with other hospital organizations to identify best practices and to determine where logistical efficiencies can be beneficial and partners with other Supply Chain Organization leadership to accomplish assigned duties.
