Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Production and Material Support Supervisor to join our team in Temple, TX.

Your Role:

As a Production and Material Support Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading hourly team members to ensure production parts are available to meet the given schedule, finished goods are scanned and loaded on trailers, WIP is delivered to production lines in a timely manner, and scrap is collected and tracked throughout the production shifts.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Manage, direct and coordinate all activities directly related to logistical support of the production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining safety and quality
• Supervise 15+ hourly shift employees across four shifts and one team leader
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
• Allocate labor and resources to meet operational needs including review of staffing needs and ensure shift transitions are communicated properly

We need you to have:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of related professional and progressive manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proficiency in SAP

Icing on the cake:

• BA/BS degree in Operations Management, Business or related field
• Prior team management experience combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching and mentoring a diverse staff
