Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Director of Global Supply Chain to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.
As a Director of Global Supply Chain you will be responsible for end-to-end logistics, trade compliance and planning for import/export, Canada and the International Business Unit, including both strategic and tactical aspects. You will also be responsible for establishing the strategic direction for import/export and foreign to foreign logistics, including compliance activities and long term planning.
You will have the opportunity to:
Drive S&OP process with International Business Unit to determine demand requirements and related supply planning activities
Oversee the management of relationships and agreements with third parties including Customs Brokers, freight forwarders and other third parties involved in the import/export and International process.
Ensure customs policies and business SOP's are maintained, and effectively implemented to support global supply chain requirements, local regulations, and corporate polices/standards
Mitigate risks associated with Global Supply Chain execution and drive compliant cost-saving global trade programs and logistics initiatives
Ultimately, you will determine Logistics solutions to support growth of International Business, including end-to-end coordination for new product Logistics.

We need you to have:
BA/BS in International Business, International Logistics, Supply Chain, OR sufficient work experience to compensate
10+ years of progressive Global Supply Chain experience including international, import/export and trade compliance
Understanding of the C-TPAT process, minimum security and audit requirements
Proven track record in successfully leading complex cross-functional projects dedicated to international logistics, import/export processes and cost optimization
Ability to travel up to 25% domestically as well as internationally
Icing on the cake:
MBA or other advanced degree
Sales and Operations Planning experience
Customs broker license or comparable training
