The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Supply Chain Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
The person hired for this position will have direct supervision of supply chain analysts and processes in an Electrical Markets manufacturing environment, across 3 New England sites. Responsible for advancing standardization, lean improvement processes and projects, and support of oncoming product growth.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Direct supervision & coaching of 3M Chelmsford, 3M Haverhill and 3M Tilton supply chain analysts
Support and Implementation of Standard Work in production planning, service delivery, inventory management and capacity management.
Project Leadership in support of improved plant ERP systems, including both SAP (at Chelmsford) and legacy (Tilton and Haverhill).
Coach and develop supply chain analysts across the 3 sites on best practices, process improvement, standardization, and adherence to standard work.
Partner with Division in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and capacity processes, represent manufacturing / supply chain planning for the New England sites, resolve issues as appropriate
Participation in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, compliance with corporate policies and procedures, and leadership in a manner consistent with 3M's values and ethical standards
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Three (3) years of Supply chain/Logistics experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Five (5) years of supervisory experience leading and managing teams in a private, public, government or military environment
Master's Degree from an accredited university in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (completed and verified prior to start)
Systems experience with MRP software (example SAP)
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Strong interpersonal, communication, and team building skills
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
