What you will do-
You will be responsible for managing and executing logistics/transportation approach in a manner that supports Stryker's overall strategy. As the Senior Logistics Analyst you will complete daily order creation and management of orders. This role participates in management of vendors (4PLs) to ensure department goals are achieved. Continuously analyze data and processes to measure and improve performance and productivity. You will work with cross functional teams to proactively identify areas of risk and solve supply chain problems of varying scope and complexity
Serves as a resource to Redmond sales team and customers and supports field personnel, Distribution Centers, Supply Chain and other departments in transportation/logistics areas
Fully understands the 4PL process and world class supply chain practices
Create shipping documents such as commercial invoices and schedules domestic and international logistics movements for all modes of transportation (truck, air, ocean, rail)
Ensures the structure of all logistics and delivery programs meet Department of Transportation (DOT) and IATA regulations, including Hazmat global requirements
Ensures products, components and/or supplies are shipped, distributed or received in an efficient manner
Work with Redmond's preferred carriers to coordinate critical shipments, track as required and work issue resolution as needed
Work towards Cost Per Unit (CPU) minimization while balancing growth and high levels of service
Contribute to business requirements for system development (TMS, WMS, internal/external Integrations)
Informs management on all pertinent issues concerning the 4PL and Logistics process
Develop project plans that define scope, schedule, budget and business impact and risks
Executes plans and identifies issues or obstacles, gains alignment and brings to resolution
Builds relationships and communicates with cross-functional teams on supply chain activities
What you need-
Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
4 plus years of work experience and proven business analysis experience within Operations or Supply Chain
International Trade and Dangerous Goods Compliance experience
Master's degree in supply chain, engineering, operations research, business analytic fields
Certification in APICS, CSCP or CPIM
2 + years of experience in international freight forwarding
Experienced with Global Logistics and Supply Chain activities
Prior experience working in a high volume distribution center or factory
Hazmat certification or related training
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated data analysis and organizational skills
Microsoft Power BI skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
Demonstrated capability to turn abstract concepts into tangible work product with moderate supervision
