The Manager, Project Management Office, Delivery Stream role owns the execution of Project Management within the Delivery Stream in Integrated Supply Chain (ISC). The Delivery Stream consists of Customer Care and Logistics teams operating globally to service our customers. The Manager, Project Management Office, Delivery Stream is an influential and respected individual and is held accountable for leading a team of Project Managers to successfully implement projects which deliver against desired outcomes.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
The role of Manager, Project Management Office, Delivery Stream , is responsible for leading Delivery Stream Project Managers (PMs) who support and/or lead projects related to Customer Care & Logistics focused on Customer Experience, Productivity, Supply Chain Development, and Enterprise Initiatives, with varying levels of complexity. The activities of the PMs could include but are not limited to projects related to organisational transformation, technology introduction and enhancements, process changes, and other types of productivity projects. Significant engagement with stakeholders across multiple functions may be required. This role assures that the PM work is successfully completed through development of standard work, data analysis tools, and reporting; development of the team's skills and capabilities; and providing coaching and oversight for project work. This role also balances work among the PMs and works with delivery stream leadership in both reporting of work done and prioritizing activities. The manager coordinates work that is completed by direct reports as well as PM work that may be completed in other regions/functional areas. In addition to managing the PM work, this role will also lead complex projects that support the integrated supply chain.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering preferred; other bachelor's level degrees will be considered.
Minimum 8 or more years of business work experience with broad exposure to various business segments, with previous experience of managing a team.
Minimum 5 or more years of direct leadership experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in project management & leadership, managing risks before they are issues.
Ability to influence critical stakeholders, and teams outside span of control.
Demonstrated experience with change management tools and practices.
Interacts with the global team members well and is a team player.
Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) to various levels of the organization.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Knowledge of Rockwell BU/functional structures, capabilities, and policies.
Understands complexities of distributor network and end customers.
Familiarity with technical integration - how people, process, and technology work together.
Collaborates and teams effectively within and across business units and roles.
Communicates effectively with all levels of the organization.
Identifies and manages competing priorities and initiatives for the ISC business.
Acts courageously, speaks up to identify potential risks/issues, collaborates for best results.
