ConnectUs is looking to hire a Warehouse Operations Manager. This person will be responsible for launching the company’s first company-owned warehouse and transitioning the current operations away from a third-party logistics company. Proven successful management of a fulfillment warehouse center is a must. Strong technical knowledge is highly desired. This person must be a strong leader, a problem solver, and a self-starter. This role will be integral to the company’s long-term success and any serious candidate will be heavily vetted to ensure the right fit.

Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Be able to oversee Mobile Device Management (MDM) configurations
Manage configuration and kitting process for wireless tablets, smartphones, laptops and other data devices and networking equipment
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
Ensure orders with tight deadlines are shipping out on time
Prepare annual budget for equipment and supplies
Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, etc.)
Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

Proven work experience as a Fulfillment Warehouse Manager
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience using the following tools:
Order Management, Inventory Management or ERP Software

Project Management software to track your project and tasks

CRM software to track calls and emails
ConnectUs uses Copper
Chat software to communicate by channel with teams at work

Strong Excel experience for reporting and analysis
BS degree in logistics, information systems, supply chain management or business administration
Comfort working independently and with a team
