This is a cross-functional process SME leadership role with main area of responsibility being business readiness, initiative prioritization, as well as the overall quality of business processes. This role will be expected to lead projects within functional areas. This position will interact with other groups in the organization such as the functional business teams and the IT Capability lanes. This individual must be self-directed and work well within a team environment and be a process SME in the function supported.
Functional - Functional expertise across the global supply chain functional domains. SME level skill in the focus function. Understands the processes and data with an end to end perspective and has a level of domain expertise to understand the business impact to related functions. Able to provide direction for functional users within and outside the functional areas along with data insights.
Technical - Practitioner level system experience for ISC business systems, SAP a primary, and understand the enterprise level interaction with ISC business systems.
Communication - accomplished in assembling process deliverables, presentations, and communicating to all levels within and outside of the ISC organization.
Project complexity - capable of structuring and executing projects and process improvement initiatives that are smaller in nature or focused in a functional area.
Thought Leadership - motivated to be a thought leader in the Global Supply Chain organization. Demonstrated ability to put new innovations to work in a practical way
Leadership - demonstrated interest and passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge with other members of the Rockwell Automation organization.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education
Candidate must demonstrate SME level functional knowledge in two areas among - Sales Order Management, Customer Invoicing, Logistics, Import / Export Compliance, Planning (supply and demand), Sourcing / Procurement.
Understand systems, processes, methods, tools, data, etc. needed in a best in class solution for functional domain focus.
Experience with SAP and technical curiosity and system skills to investigate solutions expanding the portfolio beyond SAP.
Experience in Lean techniques for decomposing and optimizing a business process.
Skilled in defining business case / justification for initiatives.
Identify, create and implement projects to drive Rockwell Automation's supply chain to best in class performance and enable the Connected Supply Chain.
Proven leadership and change management skills to drive improvements across the broader supply chain organization.
Experience in driving Process Improvements through elimination of variation and waste while driving speed and cross-functional optimization.
Demonstrated ability to drive standard business practices are implemented globally. Lead benchmark activities to ensure Rockwell practices are industry leading.
Demonstrated skills in process management and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
Understanding of applicable RA ISC processes
Project Management Certification
Lean/Six Sigma, CPM, APIC Certification
Knowledge of SAP, MRP, inventory, and production planning principles.
