What you will do-
You will provide daily functional leadership and direction to the distribution team and 3PLs to ensure achievement of business goals and objectives through consistent coordination of quality on-time deliveries that are cost effective and provide a positive customer experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for compliance to the Stryker Quality System and Stryker Financial rules regarding inventory and revenue recognition management.
Responsible for the performance of the Logistics Team and 3PLs
Identify and execute strategic initiatives to ensure ability to meet future growth
Responsible for the selection, supervision, development, engagement and objective achievement for the distribution team consisting of clerical/technical and production staff
Work cross functionally with the customer service, sales, finance, quality, human resources, IT and operations team to achieve Stryker mission, vision and objectives
Set and achieve inventory management, quality, cost and delivery service objectives
Support new business opportunities
Update and maintain compliance to quality system procedures regarding Distribution
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and procedures (Stryker Quality System, FDA, FAA, OSHA, etc.)
Plan and administer procedures and budgets for unit
Manage one or more Distribution Unit Supervisor
What you need-
Bachelor's degree required
6+ years of professional relevant experience required
2+ years of related operations, distribution or technical experience- highly preferred
2 years of supervisory experience- highly preferred
Excellent analytical and project management skills- preferred
