The Supply Planning & Order Management Lead (Acute & EMS East Asia) is responsible for the overall purchase order management and planning of associated inventory level holdingsfor theMedical Acute & EMS portfolio across East Asia markets. This role's primary function is two-fold. Firstly, to be the regional lead for all PO management with key suppliers, and secondly, to be overall lead and escalation point for sales order management matters.
What You Will Be Doing :
Plan, purchase and manage products in portfolio to achieve the goals of supply fulfillment, optimal inventory levels, E&O, forecast accuracy and cost optimization. This includes planning purchases strategically and creating an inventory plan to achieve full year KPI targets.
Plan and execute procurement of products from global manufacturers in the ERP system.
Be the primary point of contact with external suppliers and proactively communicate supply issues / service constraints to relevant stakeholders.
Maintains the accuracy of dates on orders, resolves receiving issues in the warehouse, and serve as key point of contact within the Customer Operations team for supply related inquiries for East Asia.
Oversight of inbound freight, partnering with the Logistics team to reduce costs where possible. Proactively work with the warehouse to discuss capacity constraints.
Partner with Demand Planner to assist with preparation of presentation for the Demand Reviews, providing input on demand plans.
Understand end to end supply, collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage daily/weekly/monthly sales orders, monitor shipment status with warehouse and maintain accurate records in JDE system
Supply and Backorder Review - weekly supply review and reporting to stakeholders and management, identify potential OOS items and take preventive / corrective actions, backorder review on root cause and recovery
Who We Are Looking For :
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a variety of Supply Chain areas namely S&OP, Demand Planning, Inventory & Supply Planning.
Strong proficiency in English as the main business language.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to tactfully influence and persuade stakeholders towards paths of action.
Effective relationship building skills and ability to proactively collaborate with stakeholders across various functions.
Thrive in a fast paced environment where we are building the business up. You must be passionate about designing solutions to business problems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately maintain large data sets.
Excellent MS Excel skills.
JDE and BI experience or equivalent is advantageous.
Familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO13485.
Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin will be helpful in managing relationships with internal stakeholders in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
