Primary Job Function:
Plans, directs, manage projects related to Track & Trace (Serialization). The position has global responsibility.
Ensures the project actions are executed by the different departments (e.g., Engineering and IT) in a controlled and qualified way.
Gathers input from cross-functional teams and creates plans that help the team produce deliverables on time and in line with the regulatory requirements per country and in alignment with international standards.
Anticipates, oversees and resolves operational project issues in conjunction and in accordance with standard operating procedures and specific regulations.
Monitor's and reports on project progress, chase (validation) deliverables and manage project financials and follows up with team members and line managers when issues develop.
Drive standardization - level with the different business teams on local, regional and global level and drive, together with the Solution Architect Track & Trace, new demands to standardized Track & Trace solutions that are in line with Abbott IT policies and processes.
Expert in project management within the Operations domain and related software and systems which includes,
Detailed understanding of track & trace principles (in pharma domain).
Have good knowledge of other Operations processes such as planning, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, warehousing and critical dependencies.
Have a good understanding of segregation of networks and ISA 95 model
Have a good understanding automation processes.
Ability to understand and document business requirements, recommend business / technology solutions leveraging common practices, standard capabilities and challenge requirements not aligned with agreed templates and native capabilities.
Able to negotiate and influence business choices aligned with standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and strong interdisciplinary, intercultural and networking skills - a relationship builder.
IT Compliance - understand the Software Life Cycle policies and apply to deliver / drive the delivery of related documentation (project deliverables) together with business, outsourcing partners and IT team members.
Pragmatic and results driven without giving in on compliance/quality.
Ability to look at challenges from strategic, tactical and operational level.
Endurance -persistent in getting the job done - able to work in a continuous changing environment.
Proactive and self managing attitude.
Masters or bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferred), or related business field relevant for function.
Preferred - IT Service Management certified (e.g., ITIL)
Preferred - experience / knowledge of ERP systems and interfaces
Minimum 2-4 years of project management experience in a large or midsized multinational organization.
Minimum 1 year of IT project management experience in a large or midsized multinational healthcare organization
Proven track record in project management roles.
Preferred: proven track record in track & trace (in Pharma)
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)- high level knowledge
Preferred: Plan to Produce business domain
Experience with Data Management - high level knowledge - Preferred: data gathering / data harmonization / data models / reporting
Understanding of business administration and finance.
