The Analyst, Logistics will be responsible for developing actionable analyses to improve the productivity and efficiency of CBIâs beer transportation network and support day to day operational requirements with data management and reporting. This role reports to Sr. Manager, Logistics and Distribution.
Identify logistics areas for process improvement and cost savings.
Assist with management of warehouse inventory reconciliation.
Responsible for preparing statistical data for contract negotiations.
Map logistics and supply chain related processes, to include the design of new processes, networks, and distribution modes by identifying gaps.
Support cost reduction projects.
Assist in further development/enhancement of Logistics KPI dashboard.
Assist in preparing and analyzing data to support the budget process.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to special projects and supplier / vendor presentations.
Cross-train with other department personnel and provide supplemental support as required.
Utilize systems and software to develop and maintain reporting tools to support business decisions.
A Bachelorâs degree and a minimum of three yearsâ experience in transportation or a related field is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.Â ERP system (SAP preferred) experience is desirable.
Must have excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Requires excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate well across all levels of the organization. Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with both internal and external customers.Â Must be able to make decisions independently and recommend viable solutions to problems and issues.
Must have the ability to handle a heavy workload and be able to work under pressure while handling frequent changes in direction, without losing focus.Â
Must be willing and able to learn and acquire new skills and abilities.
