What you’ll be doing...
The CSG Supply Chain Technology Leader will be responsible for E2E Digitization of Planning, Sourcing & Supply Chain processes & systems platforms of Verizon’s Global Supply Chain ecosystem. This hands-on role will partner with senior-level development managers, architects and business leadership to develop and execute the technology product roadmap. This role will work closely with senior leadership and peers across Verizon’s Global Technology Services (GTS) and the Global Supply Chain business organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the technology product roadmap which supports the business strategies such as 1 Planning, 1 Sourcing, Return 2.0 and other strategic transformation programs to drive next-gen customer experiences, and cost optimization
- Lead an ‘AI/ML first’ product design approach and provide expert guidance and critical analysis for proposed designs with an eye towards simplicity of design and automation
- Build a strong Analytics/BI & Machine Learning practice to track KPIs, Operational Metrics and other critical data sets to ensure transparency and visibility.
- Lead client requirements gathering and market research to develop industry leading technology roadmaps with an aligned multi-year investment portfolio
- Partner with other product managers and development leadership as well as the executive team to prioritize product initiatives, track KPIs and manage outcomes
- Lead the Supply chain technology ecosystem to support 5G/CBand build & deployment
- Foster a culture of innovation & stay current/ahead with emerging technologies and take rational risk in implementing those technologies to deliver ROI.
- Communicate the technology product roadmap to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage product management staff for the technology infrastructure teams
- As the Product Owner, drive the Agile process and create a culture of continuous improvement of processes and methodologies
- Take E2E ownership of transformation initiatives to ensure achievement of critical milestones and results
- Leverage Automation/RPA to eliminate manual processes and activities across the supply chain value chain.
- Act as an escalation point for client services
- Speak at public events and author industry articles as appropriate
What we’re looking for...
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or Math
- 10+ years of related experience in Supply Chain Technology & ERP domain
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Ariba, IBP, SAP/HANA
- 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud technologies, Strong hands-on implementation knowledge of Machine Learning Models (supervised, unsupervised & deep learning)
- Experience w/ Big Data - Hadoop, Big Query, TeraData etc.
- Experience w/ Blockchain Technologies preferred
- Experience in Supply Chain warehouse management & Automation technologies
- Technical product management experience preferred
- A bias toward architecture evolution that continually adds business value
- Experience delivering software solutions that support and transform business operations
- Experience with E2E Supply Chain processes - Sourcing, Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, etc.
- Experience in Supply Chain Logistics, warehouse management & automation, Shipping and 3PL integration/management
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to collect, absorb, and analyze information quickly and independently
- Ability to develop recommendations, form judgments and make decisions based on existing available data
- Executive communication (verbal and written) skills and an ability to communicate complex technical information in simpler terms
- Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organization
- Highly motivated, with the ability to take initiative, set priorities and perform tasks with minimal guidance
- Proven ability to develop and manage cross functional processes and project timelines
- Excellent follow-through, attention to detail and time management skills
