Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Strategic Sourcing, Commodity Management, Procurement Market Analysis, and Commercial Terms & Conditions.
• Negotiate pricing & terms, confidentiality agreements, supply agreements, and other contract related documents for various commodity categories.
• Experience in writing Supply Agreements, Contracts, and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
• Work closely with internal clients & stakeholders to define, establish, and lead the strategic sourcing process, which includes all phases of marketplace or benchmark analysis, supplier identification, RFI, RFQ and/or RFP.
• Build strong supplier relationships, implement & monitor ongoing supplier performance metrics, and drive cost reductions & continuous improvements.
• Plan, organize, and analyze data to make decisions or to build recommendations on sourcing strategies with vendor selection implications utilizing Total Cost of Ownership analysis.
• Document and manage supplier spend, supplier cost, delivery & quality targets using established commodity strategies.
• Manage assigned domestic & international commodity categories & suppliers.  Examples of the indirect commodity categories are: (Information Technology (IT), Contract Labor, Professional Services, Benefits, Marketing & Advertising, and others).
• Negotiate and manage payment terms to the corporate standards, ensure suppliers are paid timely, and intervene to resolve payment delays promptly.
• Track the development of new technologies and/or industry trends that will result in the identification of new suppliers, alternative products, and/or best in class services.
• Collect and report savings productivity & achievements.
• Support internal Worldwide Purchasing Improvement Programs.

Required Skills & Education:

• BS any relevant business or technical related field
• Minimum of 8 years indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or commodity management experience, with 3 years in a senior role
• Proven track record of delivering or exceeding expectations
• USA or other valid Passport required for occasional international travel
• Extremely strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation & influence), must have the ability to present specific content comprehensively to respective target groups
• Project Management experience
• Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
• Sense of urgency, disciplined execution, and a "get it done right" mindset
• Ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously while still meeting deadlines
• Strategic Analytical Thinking
• Sensitivity to different worldwide cultures and global country level practices
• Willingness to share knowledge and to learn from others

Desired Skills:

Preferred additional skills:

• Master’s degree preferred (business or technical)
• SAP or similar ERP experience preferred
• Prior supervision experience a plus
• Six Sigma / LEAN certification (green or black belt preferred)
• Professional certifications a plus (CPM, CPSM, CCMP, CPIM, etc.)
• Second language skills a plus
