About the Role
As the Lead Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for meeting customer satisfaction by managing product availability for specific Harman Lifestyle Consumer North America Business Units. Additionally, you will serve as a key contributor/leader to the direct shipment process in both Asia and US. Your reporting and analysis will enable improved supply fulfillment, reduction of excess, and accuracy of data inputs across the North America supply chain team.
Your Team
This position will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
What You Will Do
- Prepare critical shortage reports and coordinate root cause/correction action investigation
- Maintain relevant SAP fields for accurate material and inbound arrival data
- Initiate goods receipts and invoicing for North America direct deliveries
- Identify and facilitate inter-company transfers from other Lifestyle Consumer regions
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Operations Management related field
- Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
- Strong analytical skills, experience in working with large volume of data and performing quantitative analysis
- Flexible team player who is eager to thrive in a fast-growing environment
What is Nice to Have
- SAP experience (i.e., Report creation, generation, analysis)
- Experience with IBP (Integrated Business Process)
- Consumer electronics background
- Exposure to business planning with large retailers (Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, etc.)
- APICS certification
What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel up to 5%, domestic and international travel
- Be willing to work in an office in Northridge, CA
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
