This represents the full performance level. An anesthesia technician at this level closely assists anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists in the administration of anesthesia under minimal direct supervision. The incumbent will set-up, maintain, and troubleshoot anesthesia machines, ventilators, invasive hemodynamic monitoring equipment (e.g. arterial pressure monitors), video laryngoscopes and bronchoscopes, ultrasonic scanning systems, and rapid infusion systems. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
