BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
SUMMARY Drives new business and support current business with existing shippers, ocean carriers and service industry entities to develop cargo movements and vessel calls with a focus on breakbulk, heavy-lift and rail business in support of the Board’s mission to maximize the flow of waterborne and rail cargo through the port ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (other duties as assigned) Identify potential opportunities for increasing cargo flows through the Port and NOPB by analyzing market intelligence, identifying market trends and understanding supply chain and logistics by commodity and geographic regions. Follow-up on leads from research and direct contacts and assist shippers as well as port and rail service
