Parkview Health is accepting applications for Pharmacy Manager - Distribution Services at Parkview Hospital Randallia.
Responsibilities: In our complex pharmacy environment, this Pharmacy Manager will provide oversight and direction of day-to-day operations and distribution services at Parkview Randallia Hospital. In addition, with collaboration of Pharmacy leadership, there will be system responsibilities for Epic Operational Coordination, Pharmacy Policies and Procedures, Pharmacy Waste Stream Management, and Disaster/Emergency Preparedness.
This Manager will lead and direct pharmacy distribution operations, processes, procedures, and human resources toward meeting the organization’s vision, mission, and goals. The Manager will be responsible for planning, monitoring and supervising compliance with pharmacy laws and cost-effective use of medications within the hospital. Collaboration with pharmacy and other multidisciplinary hospital leaders to develop processes, systems, tools, and communication strategies to assure the appropriate distribution and use of pharmaceuticals is essential. The Manager will provide leadership for effective programming for workforce planning and training to ensure long term success of medication services at the hospital.
Parkview Hospital Randallia is located downtown Fort Wayne, approximately 10 miles from Parkview Regional Medical Center. Parkview Randallia is a 244-bed facility and provides a full-service, 24-h emergency department, intensive care unit, surgical care center, family birthing center and 50-bed CARF-accredited for Comprehensive Inpatient Medical Rehabilitation, Stroke and Brain Injury programs. Additionally, the Parkview Behavioral Health Institute is located on the Randallia campus. Parkview Randallia recently underwent a 65-million-dollar renovation to provide the best technology and state-of-the-art healing space for the Fort Wayne community.

Candidates must possess a pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution and have completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency or have equivalent hospital practice experience. Ideal candidates have completed a PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership or five years pharmacy practice experience with a minimum of 1-year supervisory experience highly preferred. Pharmacy licensure or eligibility in Indiana is required. Candidates must have a high level of clinical practice skills, enthusiasm for teaching, and the interpersonal skills needed to interact effectively with students, health professionals, and patients.
