Responsibilities
The Project Policy Analyst supports the Procurement department through many functions, including but not limited to regulatory tracking, internal audits, workplan development, policy/process development, product recalls, contracts and competitive bidding triaging and project management. This position is responsible for supporting regulatory requests that are related to Contracting Out/Covered Services, Clinical Services, Fair Wage Fair Work, Prevailing Wage, Internal Audits, Public Records Act, Compliance, Legal, Risks and other programs. This includes researching, analyzing, assessing impact, and responding to all regulatory/compliance related inquiries. Additionally, the position supports the unit in design, development, and implementation of new or enhanced business process. Incumbent will be responsible for supporting operational needs, ongoing analytics, reports, and other duties as required, for all supply chain workstreams including procurement, contracting, sourcing, inventory management and logistics.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, or other related fields and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and progressively responsible professional experience.
Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Contracting, or Finance.
Experience analyzing complex information or problems in an objective manner and derives logical conclusions to provide a sound basis for establishing priorities, selecting appropriate courses of action for pursuit or recommendations to others, and to resolve conflicts.
Experience developing and generating management or summary reports using relevant data, analysis, and data visualization techniques.
Experience composing analysis/reports, correspondence, and summaries in a comprehensive organized format.
Experience working independently, setting priorities, organizing work, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment manage time schedules, multiple requests and priorities while maintaining productivity.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to clearly and effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals to secure and/or provide information to clarify situations, resolve problems, and negotiate services and/or agreements.
Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and other tools in the Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
Business process development or design experience.
Experience interpreting, comprehending, and instructing others relative to State/Federal regulations, procedures, and policies.
Special Requirements
This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
