Responsibilities
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time intern for the Emergency Management Department. In this role, the intern will work alongside a team of innovative professionals and contribute to Atlantic's mission of delivering excellent healthcare services to our communities. The intern's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Assist projects related to Emergency Preparedness Program
Identify and Map Emergency Department Assets
Establish and Build Out Command Centers for Emergency Departments across locations
Engage and provide updates to Emergency Trainings and Exercises
Help with ad hoc tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
Ideally pursing a degree in Emergency Management, Nursing, Logistic/Supply Chain or a similarly related field
EMT experience is strongly preferred
Be in good academic standing
US Citizen or permanent resident
Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
Proficient with Excel & Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills
