The College of Professional Studies is one of nine colleges of Northeastern University, a nationally ranked private research university. The College teaches undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students on campus and online in more than 90 programs.
About the Opportunity: The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University invites applications for a part-time faculty position to teach on-campus graduate-level courses in Applied Logistics.
Responsibilities:
Teach graduate courses within Applied Logistics degree and certificate programs. Courses include (but are not limited to): Foundations of Applied Logistics Execution, Warehouse Management, Freight Management, ERP Systems for Inventory Management, Supplier Management, Advanced Technology in Logistics & Distribution, and/or other courses included in the curriculum.
Qualifications:
Master's degree and 10+ years of industry experience at the Logistics and Supply Chain Management level,
Experience teaching online courses is desirable.
Experience working with international students is a plus.
A history of successful teaching at the graduate level is strongly preferred.
US work authorization is required.
This is a non-tenure track renewable position.
Positions are available contingent upon enrollment, funding, and departmental needs.
Stipend rates per course.
Position is not-benefits eligible.
Supervision: This position reports to the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs.
