La Cuisine International Distributors, Inc. seeks an Operations Manager in Miami, Florida to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations within the appliances industry, including receiving, storage, and distribution of products. Manage & optimize the use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS*) to streamline processes & improve efficiency. Develop & implement strategies to maximize warehouse space utilization & labor productivity.  Ensure compliance with safety regulations & best practices in warehouse operations. Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, & performance management.  Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, & customer service to meet operational goals.  Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) & operational data to identify areas for improvement & implement solutions.  Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers & suppliers to ensure timely & accurate delivery of products. Evaluate & optimize processes to enhance operational effectiveness & reduce costs. Contribute to the development & execution of strategic plans to support company growth & objectives in the appliances industry. Supervise 5 employees.  Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics Management or related field. Foreign degree equivalent acceptable plus 2 yrs exp in job offered or  operations management & supply chain logistics.
