POSITION SUMMARY: The Lead Materials Control Analyst role coordinates with customers, suppliers, carriers and internal Penske team and supervisor to plan, secure, and resolve transportation challenges. This position provides operational support to assist the Supervisor and team in the management of customer transportation orders using Penske?s Transportation Management System (TMS). C Crew which is Fri/Sat 6AM to 4PM and Sun/Mon 6PM to 4AM MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Subject Matter Expert on account business rules, and Standard Operating Procedures. Train the team and update SOPs periodically. ? Support Supervisor on process management activities and customer communication.
