Job Summary The position directs the activities, budget and staff for Procurement and Logistics functions including requisitioning, purchase order placement, sourcing of products, order expediting, contract management, item master and vendor master maintenance clean-up, transportation of supplies from vendors/distributors, internal distribution of supplies, management of inventory, appropriate staging of products for consumption, and product disposition. The position is responsible for the coordination of all transaction management activities and must work effectively to ensure that the efficiency and effectiveness of transactions is maximized while ensuring that the appropriate communication is initiated and coordinated
