Our Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) function supports the overall execution of manufacturing operations at Rockwell Automation. Our teams within ISC develop and implement process for productivity across our plant operations, drive improved security within our plants and across our products, drive global standardization of our Connected Enterprise Operations and its commercialization while working toward improvements for our customer experience initiatives.
As an intern within ISC Manufacturing & Engineering group you will perform a key functional role while working with a team of engineers and industry professionals in one or several of the following areas:
Quality & Continuous Improvement Engineering: Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineering roles work with multiple functions and stakeholders within Rockwell Automation to ensure Rockwell designs and delivers the highest quality and most reliable products, services and solutions to our customers. Intern roles can involve creating quality documentation, metric reporting, data mining, statistical analysis of product data, design support for product compliance, lifecycle management for component part selection, dispositioning non-conforming materials, and executing Lean projects within the plant. Some roles may require you to perform root cause failures analysis by conducting various product tests in a variety of chemical, electrical, and mechanical lab environment. Based upon analysis results, the intern may assist in determination of corrective/preventive actions for non-conformances found in manufacturing and in the field. Potential intern roles may have the title of Supplier Quality Intern, Reliability Intern, Product Quality Intern, and Quality Engineer Intern.

Preference given to students met on campus, at a national recruiting event, through a Rockwell Automation-hosted event or a targeted recruiting campaign
Preference give to students who have had prior intern or co-op with Rockwell Automation
Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Operations Research, Logistics, General Management, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
experience in lean manufacturing / six sigma concepts
Basic knowledge in supply chain, previous supply chain internship experience
